I am currently in my 9th year as a Governor, my daughter left three years ago after completing her education here at Holmes Chapel. I sit on the following Committees – Staffing and Curriculum, Pastoral and Discipline. I am involved with Staff Recruitment and I am also a member of the Cheshire County Council School Exclusion Appeals Panel.

To become an effective Governor it is essential to attend as many training courses and seminars as possible. This I have done and they include all initial Governor Training courses, Special Needs and Child Protection. As Chair of Governors I have to attend regular Cheshire County Council – Director of Children Services Seminars. My role as Chair is as follows:-
