LIFE AS A STUDENT AT
HOLMES CHAPEL SIXTH FORM CENTRE
Whilst learning is obviously our priority, life as a student in our Sixth Form has its other benefits as well, these include:
Team Building Events/ Residential
Team Building events occur regularly throughout the year and include Autumn Inter-Tutor tournaments, Summer Alternative Olympics, Charity and numerous Social events organised by the Student Leadership Team.
In addition to this, the big event of the year is the residential experience offered to Year 11 students who have been offered a place and all year 12 students.
This takes place in July 2009. It is usually based at an outdoor/indoor activity centre and has been at the Conway Centre in North Wales, the PGL centres in Paris and Shropshire and the Kingswood centres on the Isle of Wight and the Peak District. Details of our next big residential will follow soon…
